Commentary; This promise from God, that whoever believes in Jesus The Christ should not perish but have everlasting life is perhaps the most significant promise we could hope to stand upon! Irrespective of health, financial or other of this physical world's realities you may be struggling with right now, understand that once you leave this fallen world to go be with The Father, you have His promises of eternal life outside of the pain and suffering that you may be presently experiencing!
Philippians 4:6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

​Commentary; Don't worry about anything but pray about everything as Our Lord is faithful to answer the prayers of the faithful...those who genuinely believe in Him!
Philippians 4:19
God will meet all our needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

​Commentary; Once you've decided to genuinely follow our Father God's precepts, as exhibited by His Son Jesus, The Christ, you will begin to reap the benefits of God's overwhelming blessings!
Philippians 2:10-11
At the name of Jesus every knee will bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

​Commentary; There is NO DOUBT; once Jesus returns EVERY knee MUST bow and EVERY tongue MUST confess that HE is Lord and Master over all!
Philippians 1:21
For those who know Him, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

​Commentary; Once you genuinely accept Jesus as your Lord and Master, your future is assured and secured!
Colossians 1:13-14
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

​Commentary; Our Father God cares so much for us that He sent His Son, Jesus, to deliver us from our sins.
Colossians 1:21-22
And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight.

​Commentary; By the actions of our Lord Jesus, His going to the cross as the sacrificial lamb to account for our sins, we are presented to our Father God as being sinless and blameless....for as long as we continue to genuinely believe in and follow Jesus' precepts!
Colossians 2:9-10
For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.

​Commentary; As the "God Head" in our physical world Jesus has all authority over all things.
Colossians 2:13-14
When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross..

​Commentary; Our sins, and the resulting condemnation for said sins, have been cleansed by the fact of Jesus going to the cross for us!
Colossians 3:1-4
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

​Commentary; Our sinful lives are hidden from God by our Lord Jesus. Once Jesus returns then we will appear with Him in Heaven!
Colossians 3:12-14
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

​Commentary; How can you expect to be forgiven of your sins if you don't forgive others, as Jesus forgave you?
1 Thessalonians 1:10
and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.

​Commentary; There is a day of reckoning coming for this physical world, and it will not be pretty! A genuine belief in Jesus, and following His precepts, can keep you from the coming wrath!
1 Thessalonians 3:13
May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.

​Commentary; Our Lord Jesus will be coming soon, and He will be bringing His holy ones with him!
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

​Commentary; Our Lord Jesus will be coming soon, don't miss your opportunity to spend eternity with our Father God, His son Jesus, the remainder of the saints!
1 Thessalonians 5:9-10
God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.

​Commentary; Once we receive salvation through our Lord Jesus, The Christ, whether we are alive or not when He returns, we will spend eternity with Him!
2 Thessalonians 1:8
He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

​Commentary; God is faithful and just to those who genuinely believe in Him, and in His son Jesus. To those who don't believe God's eternal punishment is close at hand.
2 Thessalonians 3:3
But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.

​Commentary; When you faithfully following God's precepts He is faithful back to you, and places His hedge of protection around you to keep the evil one and the evil one's followers away from you.
2 Thessalonians 2:8
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.

​Commentary; Once Jesus returns the evil one will be revealed and cast into the lake of fire. Make sure that you've chosen carefully, that you've chosen to follow Jesus.
Matthew 18:19-20
“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

​Commentary; Jesus promises us that when we gather together and agree on something, it will be done for us by our Father God for Jesus will be with us.
Matthew 18:18
“Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

​Commentary; Once a person genuinely believes in Jesus then he/she will receive the authority to bind things as well as to loose things both on earth as well as in heaven.
Matthew 18:10
“See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

​Commentary; Our Father God has a special place in His kingdom for children.
Matthew 18:2-5
He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

​Commentary; Our Father God wants us to have the faith in Him as does a child.
Matthew 18:6
“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

​Commentary; Our Father God will not treat those kindly who do not treat children who believe in Him properly.
Matthew 18:7
Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!

​Commentary; Our Father God will not treat those kindly who cause others to stumble, relative to worshiping Him.
Acts 17:28
‘For in him we live and move and have our being.

​Commentary; When we live according to Jesus' precepts our lives are full and have meaning..

​Commentary; Due to our genuine belief in Jesus, The Christ, we have been promised a glorious eternal life. We wait eagerly for Jesus to come again!
Romans 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

​Commentary; God's will for each of us is that we lead a life pleasing to Him, not according to what pleases those non-believers in our world.
Proverbs 28:5
Evildoers do not understand what is right, but those who seek the Lord understand it fully.

​Commentary; Once you begin to follow God's precepts you will better understand what is correct conduct and what isn't.
Proverbs 28:13
Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

​Commentary; Our Father God already knows what you've done. He wants you own up to the errors that you've made and then move forward in living a more holy life.
Proverbs 28:18
The one whose walk is blameless is kept safe, but the one whose ways are perverse will fall into the pit.

​Commentary; When you walk according to the precepts of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, you will be kept from evil. Those who don't will be lost for eternity.

Commentary; If they pay attention, our Father God will guide the genuine believer through this physical world.
Psalm 37:34
Wait on the Lord, And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

Commentary; When Jesus The Christ, Jesus of Nazareth comes again, those who have waited on Him, and have followed His precepts, will spend eternity with Him. Those who don't, will spend eternity in Hell separated from the love of the Father.
Psalm 37:37-40
Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright;
For the future of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off. But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked,
And save them, Because they trust in Him.

Commentary; A genuine believer of our Lord Jesus The Christ, Jesus of Nazareth, will be protected from the wickedness of this physical world whereas the wicked will be cast away.
Psalm 56:9
When I cry out to You, Then my enemies will turn back; This I know, because God is for me.

Commentary; Our Father God protects the genuine believer.
Psalm 71:7-8
I have become as a wonder to many, But You are my strong refuge. Let my mouth be filled with Your praise And with Your glory all the day.

Commentary; Genuine believers need to guard against becoming prideful as all accolades need to be directed towards our Father God, and not towards any individual.
Psalm 71:20-21
You, who have shown me great and severe troubles,
Shall revive me again, And bring me up again from the depths of the earth. You shall increase my greatness, And comfort me on every side.

Commentary; Our Father God will occasionally present those who genuinely believe in Him with challenges to encourage the growth He wants them to achieve.
Exodus 32:33
And the Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.

Commentary; We have all sinned, and fallen short of our Father God's expectations, which is why we need His son, Jesus, The Christ, to be the propitiation for our sinful conduct because, without Jesus, we would be blotted out of The Book of Life!
Psalm 115:16
The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men.

Commentary; Our Father God created everything, even the earth for His children.
Psalms 145:15
The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season.

Commentary; Typically humans reach out to Father God during times of crisis. Our Father God will always take care of those who genuinely believe in Him.
Psalm 145:18
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.

Commentary; Our Father God stays close to all who genuinely believe in Him.
Psalm 145:20
The Lord preserves all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy.

Commentary; Our Father God protects those who genuinely believe in Him and follow His precepts. Those who don't believe in Him or follow His precepts do not have a bright future ahead of them.
Psalm 145:17
The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works.

Commentary; Our Father God demands that only the righteous and holy approach Him. Because our Lord Jesus, The Christ, gave His life for us, The Father sees the holy and righteous Jesus when He looks at those who believe in and follow Jesus' precepts.
Psalm 145:19
He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them. (Psalms 145:19).

Commentary; Once a person acknowledges that Jesus is God's only begotten Son, and following Jesus, and His precepts, is the only way to spend eternity with our Father God, they will begin receiving the benefits only Father God can provide.
Proverbs 16:7
When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Commentary; When a person genuinely believes in and walks in accordance with our Lord's precepts, our Lord can calm the stormy seas that he/she may be experiencing.
Leviticus 10:3
And Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord spoke, saying:
‘By those who come near Me
I must be regarded as holy;
And before all the people
I must be glorified.’ ”

Commentary; Our Father God is a jealous God. He demands to be treated in a holy manner and that, above all, He be glorified.
Proverbs 16:9
A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.

Commentary; If a genuine believer will wait on our Father God, He will guide the believer to where he/she needs to go.
Proverbs 16:33
The lot is cast into the lap, But its every decision is from the Lord.

Commentary; What the unbeliever attributes to "chance", a genuine believer understands that all things are directed by our Father God.

The fear of the Lord leads to life, And he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.

Commentary; When a person genuinely believes in our Lord Jesus, he/she should sense a hedge of protection surrounding them.

Differing weights and differing measures—the Lord detests them both.

Commentary; Our Father God will deal harshly with those who are dishonest.

Do not say, “I’ll pay you back for this wrong!” Wait for the Lord, and he will avenge you.

Commentary; Our Father God will send the Holy Spirit to whomever genuinely asks Him to do so, and will bless those who genuinely believe in Him, and follow His precepts.
Leviticus 18:30
‘Therefore you shall keep My ordinance, so that you do not commit any of these abominable customs which were committed before you, and that you do not defile yourselves by them: I am the Lord your God.’ ”

Commentary; Our Father God demands that all genuine believers follow His precepts, which will ensure a healthier life than might otherwise be expected.
Leviticus 19:3
‘Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and keep My Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.

Commentary; Our Father God orders us to honor our mother and father and to honor the Sabbath!
Leviticus 19:11-12
‘You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another. And you shall not swear by My name falsely, nor shall you profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.

Commentary; Our Father God is very clear as to how He wants His children to conduct themselves.
Leviticus 19:18
You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.

Commentary; Our Father God even though it is sometimes difficult to love our neighbors, our Father God demands that we do so.
Leviticus 19:31
‘Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits; do not seek after them, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.

Commentary; Genuine believers are not to visit with fortune tellers or others who "dabble" in the occult.
Leviticus 20:26
And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.

Commentary; Our Father God is holy, and He expects those who genuinely believe in Him to be holy as well.
Leviticus 26:1
‘You shall not make idols for yourselves; neither a carved image nor a sacred pillar shall you rear up for yourselves; nor shall you set up an engraved stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am the Lord your God.

Commentary; Those who worship objects, including money, rather than worshiping our Father God, will be dealt with very harshly.

Commentary; Our Father God blesses those who are trustworthy, and who genuinely believe in, and follow the precepts of His Son, Jesus, The Christ.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-12
For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Commentary; Once Jesus, The Christ, returns, those who genuinely believe in Him, and follow His precepts, will be safely removed from the ultimate unlawfulness. Those who don't, won't.
Proverbs 12:12
The wicked covet the catch of evil men, But the root of the righteous yields fruit.

Commentary; Those who genuinely believe in Jesus, The Christ, and follow His precepts, are the righteous, who will flourish.
1 Timothy 1:15
This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

Commentary; Our Father God, sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, The Christ, into this physical world to freely offer salvation to everyone.
Psalm 4:8
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

Commentary; Those who genuinely believe in, and follow the precepts of our Lord Jesus, The Christ, are the only ones who truly can say that they dwell in safety.

Commentary; There will be some, who genuinely believe in, and follow the precepts of our Lord Jesus, The Christ, who, in the latter days, will be deceived to such an extent, that they fall away from their Christian beliefs.
Psalm 7:8
The Lord shall judge the peoples; Judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, And according to my integrity within me.

Commentary; During the end times our Lord will judge every person.
1 Timothy 6:18-19

Commentary; Those who genuinely believe in Jesus, The Christ, and who follows His precepts, can be assured of life everafter.

Commentary; The resurrection of our Lord, Jesus, The Christ, on the 3rd day following His crucifixion, proclaims the glory of our Father God, something all genuine believers should repeatedly rejoice over.
2 Timothy 4:8
Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Commentary; All genuine believers in our Lord, Jesus, The Christ, will be rewarded once Jesus returns.

Commentary; Those who study God's inspired Scriptures, but who refuse to acknowledge that Jesus is The Christ, is the Messiah, will suffer greatly during the final days for their refusal.

Commentary; The wicked, and those who refuse to acknowledge that Jesus is The Christ, is the Messiah, will suffer greatly during the final days.
Titus 1:1-2
Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness, in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,

Commentary; Our Father God promised eternal life to those who genuinely acknowledge that Jesus is The Christ, is the Messiah, and follow His precepts.
Psalm 9:7-8
But the Lord shall endure forever; He has prepared His throne for judgment. He shall judge the world in righteousness, And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness.

Commentary; When Jesus, The Christ, returns, He will judge this physical world based upon His righteousness, and His righteousness alone.

Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.

Commentary; Pay attention to how religious leaders conduct themselves. If they are truly anointed by the Lord, their conduct will clearly reflect this anointing. If they don't, then they are not.

Ezekiel 39:29
“I will no longer hide my face from them, for I will pour out my Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the Sovereign Lord”.

Commentary; Any nation is exiled when it looks away from following our Lord. Those nations who repent, and returns to genuinely worshiping the one true God, then our Lord will reunite with them.
Joel 2:18
Then the Lord will be zealous for His land, And pity His people.

But I, with a song of thanksgiving, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. Salvation comes from the Lord”.

Jonah 4:2
“I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity”.

Micah 7:7

He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.

He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea.

Hebrews 7:14-17

And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchizedek, there arises another priest who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life. For He testifies: “You are a priest forever

Commentary; Found in Matthew 5:17 Jesus reminded everyone that He did not come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it.

Commentary; The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob, the creator of ALL things, provided His only begotten Son, Jesus, to be the propitiation for the entire world's sin so that every person, who genuinely believes in, and follows Jesus' precepts, will receive the free cup of eternal salvation.
Hebrews 7:28
For the law appoints as high priests men who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints the Son who has been perfected forever.

This is the gate of the Lord, Through which the righteous shall enter.

Commentary; More than 500 years before Jesus was born His coming was foretold. A genuine belief in Jesus is the only path for anyone to achieve eternal salvation.

Matthew 23:5-8

They love the best places at feasts, the best seats in the synagogues, greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’ But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren.

Commentary; The Lord's promises of salvation do not cost any money. The only cost is that the person genuinely believe in the sovereignty of Jesus, The Christ, and that they genuinely follow His precepts.
Matthew 23:9
Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.

Commentary; There is only one Father God. He is the God of Abraham, of Isaac and of Jacob.

Commentary; The time is short to genuinely acknowledge that Jesus, The Christ, is Lord over all. Once Jesus returns, then it will be too late to acknowledge Him.
Matthew 23:12
And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.

Ezekiel 34:11-16
“I myself will search for my sheep and look after them. As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness. I will bring them out from the nations and gather them from the countries, and I will bring them into their own land. I will pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in all the settlements in the land. I will tend them in a good pasture, and the mountain heights of Israel will be their grazing land. There they will lie down in good grazing land, and there they will feed in a rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. I myself will tend my sheep and have them lie down, declares the Sovereign Lord. I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak, but the sleek and the strong I will destroy. I will shepherd the flock with justice”.

Commentary; Jesus, The Christ, is the Good Shepherd. He will always look after those who genuinely believe in Him.
