Easter Holy Week; Last Supper

Please note below several Last Supper excerpts to consider. It’s always fascinating to see what our Father God reveals to us once we more deeply consider His scriptures. It’s always interesting to consider how, in Matthew 26:34 Jesus predicts that Peter will deny Him three times in just a few hours, which of course Peter did. But then, subsequent to the resurrection, Jesus fully restores Peter by asking him also three times if he loves Him (John 21:15-17) and then sends Peter off to feed His sheep!

Good Friday is coming soon………and Resurrection Sunday is just around the corner!

Matthew 26: 23-24:  "One of you who is eating with Me now will betray Me.  For I, the Son of Man, must die, as the Scriptures declared long ago...." Matthew 26: 26-29:  As they were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread and asked God's blessings on it.  Then he broke it into pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, "Take it and eat it, for this is My body."  And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it.  He gave it to them and said, "Each of you drink from it for this is My blood, which seals the covenant between God and his people.  It is poured out to forgive the sins of many.  Mark My words----I will not drink wine again until the day I drink it new with you in My Father's Kingdom." (NLT)
